About Me

Welcome to my website Amazing Tokyo 2020

As you see, the time is coming to the long-awaited Tokyo 2020 Olympic, which is to be connected, interacted with all people around the globe that would be held in Japan. But before I go over, I want to introduce my self to you.

My story

My name is Lyn; I was born and raised in the northern extremity village of the beautiful island in the Philippines. It is a sleepy village with a stunning view of the mother earth with beautiful beaches and ocean so as well the bountiful green waving fields and high mountains that are so much relaxing to look at.

I married a likable and gentle Japanese man 25 years ago and now living in Japan with my family, my husband Fukuo, and my two smart daughters Mio and Rina. Mio is my first daughter, a chemist with a character of affable burning temper to challenge new things and possess a charm to makes you laugh even in hard times. Rina, my second daughter, a college student, comely, and admirable. She inspired the degree as a teacher.

My thoughts of Japan

Japan is so different from my country home in general. The technology, the customs and traditions, and the culture as well. The first time I came here, I was so impressed with the high-technology inventions, large buildings, savvy subways and everything around are so entirely different from my country.

The city seemed centuries ahead.
I had read news about the advancement of technologies, but it was beyond my expectations. The country is well-developed with all the convenience you could imagine, for instance, you can shop for your dinner and in 30 minutes, and you’ll see it at your doorstep. If you want to drink cold or hot drinks, there are vending stores in every block. And so many other things and I’m going to share it with you.

Here I am

My goal is to share my unbiased knowledge and experience of living in Japan as a wife, mother, and friend.

  • Taste of Japan
  • Lively hood in Japan
  • Friendship with Japanese

Here I am, your friend!

If you ever need a hand or have questions, feel free to leave them below, and I will be more than happy to help you out.

All the best,

Lyn
